History

John H. Radebaugh (Jack) started the business in 1973. He and his wife Nancy started out on their farm in Northern Baltimore County. They began with four small greenhouses growing cut flowers, ferns, poinsettias, and annuals. Jack later shifted his attention from cut flowers to growing geraniums and annuals. Geraniums are where Jack found his niche. The business has grown over the years into a 5 1/2 acre indoor greenhouse operation. There are three generations at work here everyday. Jack still works in the greenhouse, while his three sons Ben, Dave, and J.D. run the business. Ben's son Travis has recently joined the team as well. The success of the business is due largely in part because it is family run. As a family run business the values and work ethic are passed down from generation to generation. When a customer calls they will not be greeted by a secretary in an office, but by one of the family members out in the greenhouse. This allows us to maintain a tight knit relationship with our customers.

We have a reputation for the best and fastest service in the industry. All of our orders are pulled, loaded, and delivered within 24 hrs of the order being placed. Over the years we have established a reputation for the highest quality and service. Seven day a week delivery has been a company standard since the beginning.

The quality and excellence that has become our reputation would not be possible without the hard work of our employees. We employ just four staff members outside the family year round. With the knowledge and experience of these four key people we are able to train and manage our seasonal workers very smoothly and effectively in peak production and shipping seasons.
